The Design phase usually serves to collect in depth knowledge about the market, policies, durability of the product e.t.c. During this Design phase various studies have to be conducted. Preliminary product specifications have to be formulated to ensure that the idea is feasable. Afterwards focus will be put on the preliminary design and process. As conclusion of this phase computer aided test runs will be carried out to observe how the design may work out.
